Continuing on the Tailcone
I continued on with the tailcone today. I got the rear bulkhead clecoed in after I did the measurements on the stabilator.
Then I put the trim wire in. Like a lot of people, I do not like the way that the wire rubs on the J channel at the rear of the plane. I think that is just a problem waiting to happen. I solved that problem by sliding the wire through some vinyl tube. Looks like it should hold the life of the plane
I also do not like the wire running down the J channel and under the sharp bulkheads so I ran it through a small piece of vinyl tubing at each sharp point
Then I put in the Pitot system
The rest of the day was just fitting and riveting

Completed the Aft Bulkhead
I primed all of the tailcone ribs so that they would be dry when I was ready for them.
Then I started on the aft tailcone bulkhead. This was all very straightforward and was mostly just a day of squeezing rivet. I have proud to say that I squeezed every rivet with the Cleveland rivet squeezer that I have. I did not need a rivet gun to complete this part,
